As a result, I have decided to write privately to the Prime Minister and relevant Cabinet members informing them of the Forum, its programme, its speakers, participants and its statement. I have in mind your note expressing your desire not to be associated with the statement and I will of course accommodate that request in some way. However, not knowing what is your precise problem with it - if it is one of clarity, accuracy etc - I wonder whether there is any easy way somehow to accommodate your concerns without having to dissociate you from all of it. I hope to get the letters off next week so would be glad for an early reply, Best regards John --
