Mann" Hi all, actually we now have ebm runs with seasonal 2d model in which we are able to subsample the model output over the domain represented by the data (eg, April-September 20-90N land). we are still able to simulate much of the observed change (about 60% variance) - because of this one might conjecture as to difference between the model runs for high latitude (which explain the data) and the hemispheric runs (which basically do not have tropical data prior to 1600). this is ONE way of estimating how much of a difference we might expect. that said, this has not yet been done! but I assure you this conversation has prompted me to analyze the model results accordingly (if I can ever get totally plugged in here).
