Regarding the fun in general (sinking polar bears, animations with 
changing slides etc), personally I'd prefer less of them for this 
audience since these take time and may also diffuse attention.

Yes, please do. I have attached a new version which has simplified one 
of the slides (taking out 2 panels, adding legend). With the format, 
please feel free to make this more uniform. The slides do have a header 
but of course I appreciate suggestions for more succint ones.
