I need to study the documents - and think for a bit cheers Keith At 11:25 18/09/2008, you wrote: Hi Keith, I hope all is well with you & family! Maybe the PolarCLIMATE Call from ESF can be an opportunity for a circum-Arctic (or Eurasian) tree-ring project!? I note that he has published several papers in Energy & Environment, which I guess makes him some sort of "sceptic". He has a point though. He puts in print some worries I have had since first starting off with the tree rings: The non-linear growth response, which we all know is there but which we do not really account for in making reconstructions.
