   Peter,
   The old NCAR results (variously referred to as CGCM or DOE) are still on the site since
   they meet the old criteria, but this model run does display some unusual behaviour.  I
   think Chapter 9 have decided not to use it, but you could check.
   The newer run on the DDC from NCAR (PCM) is Gerry Meehl's run and the data should now be
   fine (there was a slight problem initially in that the historically forced component from
   1960-1999 had not been mounted - it is now).  There is also the CSM run from NCAR which Tom
   Wigley has been promoting, but that seems not yet to have got to the DDC.
   A letter from WGI TSU will shortly be going out to all modelling centres inviting them to
   submit SRES-forced runs to the DDC.
   I note your comment about the mirror site.

     removed.  I also seem to to recall hearing that they were in error, but
     can't remember the details.  We currently have the opportunity to revise
     some model intercomparison work we did a few months ago and could replace
     the CGCM results with the later ones if we deem this as essential.
     While of the topic of the DDC, we are ready when you are to re-try the
     mirror site.
     Finally, I am glad to hear that the conditions were very difficult at
     Headingly, people are worried here that the West Indies will provide no
     competition to Australia when they tour this coming summer.
