I'll have a trawl for COFECHA refs on the web but if you have a standard ref so much the better. Cheers Harry ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 19 Nov 2002 16:56:02 +0000 From: Dr Graham Forsythe To: "Ian Harris (Harry)" Subject: Cofecha references Hi Ian James needs some more info for the NERC grant bid: How do we reference COFECHA, by program authors/ or journal reference where cofecha is described? He wants to emphasize that it is a standard package used by the dendro-community. Hows tricks? it has been very busy with this grant proposal, muggins here has a list of diagrams to sort out! I would prefer to be sorting out the data so we can prepare a paper!!! Phil made a cryptic comment (i'm sure thats not like him at all....) in Iceland about needing '4 shells from the modern Fladen Ground and 4 shells from the medieval period' to compare their growth histories. My question is Why 4? can we do it with 3 or is there some statistical mumbo jumbo to use 4 as a minimum??
