He is acting for all RCs. Us asking for representation across the RCs may offend him. How about responding along the lines; We are perfectly happy with two people. Our consortium is well-integrated enough for us not to have to worry about about having to represent more partners. As far as representation across the RCs is concerned, again, we are comfortable with two people. However, if you think that this is an issue, we are very happy to take your advice on this. (wording needs to be abit more elegant And perhaps stress that we have had 4-5 meetings - be good to get that in, informally) That puts the ball in his court, & gets us off the hook.
