cc: Eystein Jansen , rahmstorf@ozean-klima.de, joos date: Fri, 27 Jan 2006 09:46:06 -0700 from: Jonathan Overpeck subject: new millennium simulations for Chap 6 to: t.osborn@uea.ac.uk, Keith Briffa Hi Tim and Keith (E, S and F too): Thanks to some concerted (and appreciated!) effort in Bern and at Pik, we now have a new suite of EMIC simulations (Bern and CLIMBER). It would be great if you two could look over the results carefully and quickly to make sure everything looks good, and is ready for inclusion in the old Fig 6.10 and new fig that has the "cloud" of simulations on top of the cloud of reconstructions (the cool fig Keith gave us to show in Christchurch). Keith was cc'd the results (data and figs) of the new simulations. You have my notes on figure decisions/needs sent to you right after the Christchuch meeting - so hopefully this all makes sense to you. I'm hoping you can get on top of all this - particularly the new simulations - as fast as possible, and while there is still time to fix things. If you could give us an update on when we'll be seeing the new figs, that'd be great too - ideally this will be next week sometime. Eystein is tracking review comments and associated text revisions, but it'd be great to have an update on process related to these too. And, we'll be asking you all for a final decision on who should be a CA based on the work that went into the new simulations. Eva for sure, who else? Many thanks and have a good weekend.
