Dear Tim,

I send you two figures with the time series of solar irradiance. In the
first (tim.pdf)
the TSI used in ERIk are compared to the Lean et al data and the Crowley
data multiplied
by the factor 4/(1-.3). As you can see, Crowley underestimate the
variability and we overestimate
it
relative to the Lean et al data.

In the second figure (bard.pdf) the ERIk TSI forcingis compared to other
proposed
TSI time series.

Further figures to support the ERIK TSI series are the comparison of the
Central England SAT time series,
and of the NCEP and Jones NH mean SAT in 1948-2000
